Sounds vs Files

Instead of hundreds of files, this library uses "string-based" audio files, meaning:

  • Multiple sound variations are embedded in each file
  • Faster browsing in tools like Soundly
  • Easier layering and iteration

So you spend less time searching, and more time designing.

Behind the Scenes

The Pentax MZ-60 (also known as the ZX60) is a retro 35mm autofocus SLR film camera from around 2002. It features a Built-in auto pop-up flash, a TTL phase-matching autofocus system and automatic film winding.

Unlike the vintage 35mm camera's in the Foley Samples (Canon TX & Pentax MV1) the construction of the Pentax MZ-60 and the 28-70mm f4 lens which is fitted to it is mainly plastic. Giving the sound recordings less of a mechanical thud and more of a brittle click.
