  • How it was made

    Made up of recordings from throwing, tumbling, dropping and walking on broken pieces of disgarded slate in an abandoned slate quarry.

    Crash and impact sounds recorded in 5 different locations with varying sized of rock for a large variety of debris sounds.

    Footsteps recorded on small, medium and large pieces of slate.

    All the recordings were captured using the Mid Side microphone technique and have been decoded into stereo.
