How it was made
Various rocks, bricks, and tiles were dragged, scraped, and skidded across wooden and concrete surfaces to create a range of gritty textures. A cinder block was pulled along the full length of an OSB board using rope, producing a deep, phasey rumble. For a sharper texture, a porous red brick was lightly scraped across the surface, generating a rough, crackling sound reminiscent of a fiery inferno.
